Creation/ Destruction
Between 2016 and 2019 my practice centred on small‑scale works on paper. During this period I experimented with a range of colourants—metals, plant dyes, and other natural materials—to create intimate collages where texture and form became the primary language. These works were shaped by close attention to the natural environment, particularly its continual cycles of growth, decay, and renewal. I approached nature not as a static subject but as an active process of creation and destruction, and the collages became a way of tracing these shifting states through material exploration.
